ECB Cuts Off Greek ...

Ned,
I like what you are doing here. Here's my two sense worth and I'll share it!. 2002-3 and
for 14 months in S Korea video phones were all you could see or want to have. Samsung
dominated in a battleground that primed them for global expansion. Their chaebol wanted
global success and invested accordingly. A highly tech savvy and most connected nation on
the planet drove innovation. Everyone wanted Samsung phones, high performance laptops, the
lot. Samsung got ubiquitous connectivity then.
Fast forward to a midtown nyc bar Feb 2012. Data Mgt CIO, Broker Dealor CTO and some
programmers telling Cobol war stories are wondering how Apple iphone gets away with it and
how Samsung absolutely gets it. These guys like to build and configure what generic out of
the box products cannot do for them. They prefer the Samsung phones. It respects these
guys who know what they want. They choose the Galaxy, and there are a lot of those tech
guys out there.

Many thanks for your comments Veruca- appreciate it.
Right now members receive points based on pre results calls and depending on how close to
the results they were. People can work up to black which gives full author rights.
The rewarding of points is quite complex though and depends on people being exactly right
so I'm considering simpliying it and making it that active members that make consistent
accurate forecasts are made "executive members" with author rights. Any inputs from these
would have instantly more credibility.
What do you think?
Any suggestions comments from all appreciated.

I can't be 100% certain about that but will give Foot the benefit of the doubt here.

"Would it be useful to qualify the comments of the "crowd" through user ratings?"(SS)
i thought you were asking about pickr.
so my answer would refer to these pages.
sorry for that slight misunderstanding.
In response to your site..sure, why the heck not..:)
excuse Foot..I don't believe they were refering to SS but to all the other spam. It's been
part of the norm around here for years.

Foot,
So much anger and in one so young.
Can you forward me your credit card detals as I forgot to charge you membership fees.
Ah no. There aren't any. Nor is there advertisement or premium services. I paid for this
website out of my own money to see if we the gimp consumer can use our own info for a
change rather than a market research company taking it and selling it to hedge fund.
Here's a couple especially for you: T Mobile store in Cambridge MA. Store clerk reckons
there are only 2 smartphones selling- Galaxy and Iphone. In that order. Shorted DECK last
week but saw 5 teens coming out of the store on Saturday wearing old ones and carrying new
boxes- Share hit overdone?
And straight off the print: SGP out of the UK. Super Dry retail doing well with short term
profitability issues. Article on the way on SS.
This may give you a small chuckle.
Good luck,
Ned

Ned,
I wrote a post about this last autumn.
It said something like..
"get out from behind your desks and take a spin around with 'Eyes Wide Open'. Don't just
drive from point A~B..and stop looking in the rear~view mirror.
Many trades I have established over the years(especially retail) have been initiated
through this easy tactic.
You can ask anyone that knows me here.
Foot, don't get so upset that you become sick. It is what it is. (btw..some of those less
expensive shares are not all bad..i can prove it to you..:)

Hi Ned,
I am excited by this new approach. Some years ago a friend of mine was in an electronic
store. He was a keen investor and usually studied reports etc before buying a stock. On
this occasion he was saw a long line of people buying a new electronic gizmo- the iPod. He
went home and bought himself some Apple stock, which he held for many years. If you can
harness this type of observation, with results from all over the world, you are onto a
winner.

I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I REALLY DESPISE...
IT'S PEOPLE AND THEIR MINIONS COMING HERE TO PUMP PENNY STOCKS OR THEIR MONEY MAKING WEB
SITES WHERE THEY RIP OFF NOVICES, SELL SNAKE OIL TO LITTLE OLD LADIES, ETC. IT MAKES ME
WANT TO THROW UP.
